Cloudflare or AWS?
Cloudflare for the majority of modern cases: static sites, basic-to-medium SaaS, edge apps, content with CDN. Simpler, cheaper, faster. AWS if you have specific workloads: ML/AI computation, big data, very specialized managed services (RDS Aurora, SageMaker), or particular compliance constraints.
Why not a classic VPS at OVH or Hetzner?
Always a valid option for internal tools or business apps with stable load. Predictable cost, total control. But for variable loads or rapid scale, serverless (Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda) beats a VPS on all fronts: no server management, automatic scaling, pay-per-use.
